Sean Layh
Sean Layh is an internationally recognized figurative painter based in Melbourne, Australia, known for his large-scale, multi-figure compositions drawn from classical literature and theatrical tradition.
In 2026, Sean took Best in Show and First Place in Figurative at the ARC International Salon Competition at Sotheby's New York — one of the most competitive realist painting prizes in the world. He is also a 2026 Archibald Prize finalist and recipient of the Packing Room Prize. His work has been exhibited at the European Museum of Modern Art (MEAM) in Barcelona and the Art Gallery of New South Wales in Sydney.
