About the Course

When I see a great movie, I like a sequel. So my next workshop will be Mad Shacks Part Deux: The Jungle Adventures. We'll do what we did in Mad Shacks, but with all-new materials and locations. Since we're in the jungle, we'll have vines, bamboo, woven shacks, and grass roofs. No Western or European shacks this time; we'll be drawing island shacks and shacks from places we haven't explored before. It'll be fun, familiar, and all new.

SUPPLY LIST

Digital: A Cintiq tablet with Photoshop on a desktop or laptop works fine. An iPad works well too, but you'll need software compatible with it.

Traditional: A pad of white marker paper, 11x14 to 11x17 inches. Ten cool gray markers, Copic recommended (any brand works, but Copic is refillable; you'll refill some colors often and others rarely). Fine-point felt-tip pens — several thicknesses are fine, but keep them thin overall.
